The management and staff would like to welcome all to the new Olive Tree Café on Albion Street in Derby. The proprietors have had numerous catering outlets around Derby town centre spanning the last 48 years and have always based their menus around homemade good old fashioned English Food and this new outlet is no different. From the age old Full English Breakfast to homemade Steak pies, braising steak, casseroles, liver & onions, shepherds pies and of course our daily specials which includes our chefs speciality dishes.

All our products are sourced locally meaning we can provide our breakfasts and main meals (which are served all day) with the high quality products that our customers have come to expect from us.

All our sandwiches, toasties, salads etc are all made to order so everything you order will be fresh and you have the satisfaction of knowing it hasn’t been sitting in a cabinet all day.

There are certain parts of our extensive menu that vary from any of our competitors mainly due to the fact that we wanted to try alternative ways of serving them. For instance we use large jacket potatoes instead of the regular size and we make our own fillings instead of buying in tins, this way we are in control of the contents and can clearly label them in our extensive allergen charts.

We like to think that as well as expecting to eat good value home cooked food at reasonable prices you would like to be met by friendly faces when entering our cafe.
